Lot of confusion is there with the students regarding internship after completion of medicine program in a MCI Approved low cost medical college in Russia. The standard road map of a student is as per the following
You must understand that completing internship in a MCI approved hospital on your return to India is mandatory. As such, all East European countries offer MBBS programs with 6 years duration. Furthermore, when you would return to India, you need to pursue your mandatory 1 year of internship after clearing MCI screening test / FMGE. It means, minimum 7 years would be required assuming you clear MCI screening test in your first attempt.
As against this, when you pursue MBBS in China, there are many universities with option of 5 years program and 1 year internship back in India. This would save 1 year for you. The cost to pursue the MBBS abroad program in China would be lesser in some of the universities.
